Animal FanFair
Challenges audiences to think about how we treat animals, both deliberately and inadvertently. 13 April to 22 May 2016
Animal FanFair: Humans – Animals – Environment
This exhibition challenges audiences to think about how we treat animals, both deliberately and inadvertently. It features works by ten high-calibre Australian artists who address the societal issues underpinning animal/human relationships.
The artists Katka Adams, Marian Drew, Hayden Fowler, Kelly Hussey-Smith, Owen Hutchison, Claude Jones, Sam Leach, Emma Lindsay, Rod McRae and Walter Stahl have dedicated much of their arts practice to this challenge. They have expressed their ideas through photography and moving images, painting, mixed media, print making, installation art, performance art and sculpture.
